San Francisco shop caught selling fake Gucci wallet

The San Francisco Police Department is currently investigating a shop in Brannan Street, San Francisco for selling fake designer goods including Burberry, Dior and Gucci products. A press release sent by the office of the District Attorney, points out that the 58 year old Sarah Chong owns and runs the shop inside the mall named "GiftCenter & JewelryMart". The store claims to be a premium store for gift and jewelry but also sells handbags, shoes, wallets and sunglasses among other accessories.

However most of the luxury fashion goods were found to be counterfeit. Some of the goods would have an original retail value of over $2 million and bring in $100,000 on the street on the black market.In July of this year the store owner Chong was arrested for possession of fake designer goods but she pleaded not guilty of all charges at court and was released on a $15,000 bail.
